What is the definition of a skin tag?

Skin tags are benign skin growths that are not malignant. Skin tags are soft, fleshy lumps of tissue attached to the surface of the skin. A skin tag can be identified if it has ALL of the following physical characteristics:

Soft and flexible.

Painless

On a tiny, slender stalk, it protrudes from the surrounding skin.

Useful Instructions (included in kit)

The TagTarget® skin shield is applied first.

The TagTarget® skin shield is a self-sticking circular pad with a “bull’s eye” hole in the middle. It fits over the skin tag and preserves the surrounding healthy skin. It allows you to pinpoint the skin tag you wish to remove. Before using Compound W Skin Tag Remover, ALWAYS use the appropriate size TagTarget® skin shield.

Use a mirror to assist you put the TagTarget® skin shield if you need to view the skin tag, such as one on your neck (Figure 1). Select a TagTarget® skin shield with a hole large enough to fit over the skin tag. Skin shields with three different hole sizes are included in the box.

Preparing the Foam-tip Applicator and Holder (Step 2)

Only use the foam-tip applicators that come with Compound W® Skin Tag Remover. If you use alternative applicators, Compound W Skin Tag Remover may not work. Firmly press the applicator’s stick end into the holder (Figure 2).

Step 3: Put the Applicator in the Freeze

Place the can on a flat surface, such as a table. Place the holder and applicator in the can’s top. Line line the holder’s notches with the holes on the can’s top (Figure 3).

With one hand, hold the can firmly upright. Press the holder down with the other hand until you hear a hissing sound. For 2-3 seconds, keep pressing the holder down until you hear a hissing sound. This signifies that the applicator .

Remove the applicator and holder from the can. Wait 10–20 seconds before continuing. It’s possible that the applicator may seem icy, and you’ll get a whiff of ether.

Note: If you don’t hear the hissing sound, the can isn’t operating correctly, and you shouldn’t use it.

Warning: Do not contact the applicator to your fingers or other parts of your skin, as this might result in skin harm such as burning or scarring.

Step 4: Put the Skin Tag in the Freezer

Only one side of the stalk where it connects to the skin should be lightly pressed with the applicator tip. If required, use a mirror to assist you views the skin tag.

Hold for 40 seconds in a single position. Caution: Do not move the tip since the applicator must stay in one position to work properly.

A slight hurting or stinging feeling is likely to occur.

After-care and follow-up

The re-usable applicator holder can be saved for further use.

Discard the foam-tip applicator. Caution: Do not re-use this product. Applicators are not designed to be used many times.

Warning: Do not contact the applicator to your fingers or other parts of your skin, as this might result in skin harm such as burning or scarring.

After each usage, gently remove the TagTarget® skin protection and discard it.

After using, promptly wash your hands. After any minor symptoms such as hurting or stinging have passed, you can wash any treated areas.

Keep the treatment area clean to avoid infection.

Picking or scratching the treated area is not recommended.

Pulling the skin tag off with your fingers is not a good idea.

Do not remove the skin tag.

To protect the skin as it heals, place a bandage over the treated area.

After the initial treatment, skin tags generally come out within two weeks. If the skin tag has not disappeared after 2 weeks, repeat the procedure. If the skin tag hasn’t disappeared after two weeks, apply again. If the skin tag is still visible after two more weeks (a total of six weeks), cease using this product on that skin tag. Instead, consult your doctor since the growth might be something more dangerous than a skin tag.
